The Testarossa has always been my favorite automobile. It was introduced the year I was born and for as long as I can remember has been my idea of the ultimate supercar.
Named after the legendary 250 Testa Rossa, Ferrari's mid 80's flagship road car maintained the race derived pedigree the company was well known for. This was Ferrari's second road car to use the longitudinal flat 12 mid engine layout that had been very successful in Formula 1 in the 1970's. Other competition inspired innovations included side mounted radiators and dry sump lubrication.
