Cortile Monthly Gatherings

Hello everyone! As we are all in the tight grasp of winter I thought it would be nice to start turning our thoughts to the spring. I know I am not the only one already anticipating getting my car out of storage to enjoy some nice drives and shows. With that in mind, we thought it would be great to gather everyone associated with the Cortile several times throughout the year for touring and just good old fashion socializing. The idea is for all the Italian groups to meet at least once a month.… Continue

Matt,
If you can watermark some stuff from the Italian Cortile and post it that would be fantastic. I'm trying to drive some traffic to the SpeedTV website so we can encourage them to cover some, if not all, of the events.

You can check out the group page here:
http://my.speedtv.com/pittsburghvintagegrandprix

You would have to join as a member first prior to posting some stuff PVGP related. If you want to post some stuff on the Cortile FORUM page of last years pics THAT WOULD BE REALLY HELPFUL TO ME. I'm trying to help the PVGP overall with the SpeedTV site but I'm really trying to get as many images as I can of the Cortile to garner some attention to that.

Anything you can post to get us some more attention for the Alfa Romeo Proiettore Macchina in 2010 would be greatly appreciated.

With that in mind, we thought it would be great to gather everyone associated with the Cortile several times throughout the year for touring and just good old fashion socializing. The idea is for all the Italian groups to meet at least once a month. We can just socialize at one place or organize country tours from a “home base” to a restaurant. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas for a venue, please feel free to offer them up to the group. It would be great to get this off the ground before the weather breaks. Take care and we look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts on this.

Matthew, Thank you so much for your appreciation of "Pflugplatz". I have done many pieces since creating this one, but it still remains one of my favorites - the image just seems to capture the thrill of racing for a lot of people.

Hi matthew, the alfa will need to be restored before it is roadworthy. I will start this spring. Basically the car is very solid. I had it Zbarted when I bought it in 1973. Have lots of pics of the way the car is right now. Im going to take pics as the work progresses. Thanks for the Inquiry. Frank
